Drew McIntyre Worried CM Punk Will Injure Himself Again During Rehab From Torn Triceps
McIntyre continues to contend that Punk is 'made of glass'.

Drew McIntyre is desperate for a match with CM Punk.
The Scottish Warrior has continued to take shots at The Straight Edge Superstar in promos and on social media since Punk suffered a torn triceps in the men's 2024 Royal Rumble match.
McIntyre may have boasted about putting Punk on the shelf, but he doesn't want the 45-year-old to suffer any setbacks that could potentially postpone a meeting between the two of them.
Speaking to Gorilla Position, Drew said:
"Yeah, I just hope he's careful. Just, I'm worried he's gonna injure something else during rehab. Man's made of glass. I want that match, I really want that match. I'm just concerned for him, especially wrestling someone like me. I'm a freaking monster in there. Yeah (I'm desperate for the match), I want that match, yeah, and I got my hands on him and you saw what I did to him at the (Royal) Rumble, so that tore him to pieces. I chopped him to bits. Everyone's like, you know, GUNTHER's known for his chops because they are violent as hell. I think mine go under the radar a little bit. Put our chops side by side, I'll show you mine are even more violent. Punk was black and blue, I end up hurting him in there…".
Despite being injured, Punk has not been a stranger in WWE. He showed up after the February 19 episode of Raw had gone off the air and was backstage at last week's NXT taping.
The former multi-time WWE Champion will make his return to WWE on the March 25 edition of Raw, which takes place in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
