Dominik Mysterio Unable To Reconcile With His Father: "RIP Eddie”

Dominik Mysterio has moved onto bigger and better things since turning his back on Rey Mysterio and joining The Judgment Day, but surely turning his back on his family must eat him up inside.

The current NXT North American Champion was asked during a Q&A session on Up NXT if he’d ever reconcile with his father, to which Dominik was frank:

“Will you ever reconcile with your dad? I dream about that every night. Sometimes, it keeps me up, and I can’t sleep. But because he’s no longer with us, R.I.P. Eddie. I just do what I can at this point," Dominik said.

Despite being a full-blown Mysterio, Dominik was famously at the centre of a paternity feud between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero in 2005, with the two battling for custody of young Dominik in a ladder match at SummerSlam. Rey came out on top after Vickie Guerrero prevented Eddie from grabbing the paperwork, meaning Dominik never got to experience life as a Guerrero.
