Dakota Kai has a new look and a new in-ring name following her WWE release.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, The Captain Of Team Kick posted two photos of her underneath a palm tree. Along with confirming her new name was King Kota, Kai could be seen with long pink and white hair on top with black hair underneath.

Kai (real name Cheree Crowley) previously filed to trademark 'King Kota' on May 8 for entertainment and merchandise purposes. The former NXT star was unable to use 'Dakota Kai' following her release as WWE still own the trademark.
Kai's 30-day non-compete clause from WWE also recently expired and she is now officially a free agent. The former talent was let go by Vince McMahon's company after she made it clear she did not plan to sign a new deal.
Kai had been with the company for six years and spent the entirety of her run in NXT, becoming a two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Raquel Gonzalez along the way.
