Big changes have taken place within WWE since Vince McMahon's retirement on Friday, July 22, and the 76-year-old has been replaced as CEO by Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan, while Stephanie was also installed as the new Chairwoman. Triple H also has more power in WWE, having been appointed the new head of creative within the company.

How Vince McMahon's retirement will affect WWE and the wider professional wrestling world ultimately remains to be seen but Chris Jericho has noted that All Elite Wrestling "don't really worry" about what is happening at the competition.

"I think one of the best things that we've done as a company with AEW is obviously we know WWE exists, and obviously we know that they're out there and they see us as 1,000% competition. But we don't really worry about what's going on in their world. We're much more concerned with our own shows, sharing the best shows we can, and improving everything we can, telling the best stories we can. So to me, they're kind of a ship on their own, and we are much more diligent about AEW generally. I mean, like I said, I care, but not really worry," Jericho told CinemaBlend in a story published over the weekend.

Jericho has remained a featured performer throughout his time in All Elite Wrestling and he picked up a big win on last week's episode of Dynamite, defeating Eddie Kingston in a Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match.
