Brock Lesnar Wins WWE Championship At Elimination Chamber
Lesnar is a 10-time world champion
Feb 19, 2022
Mere weeks after he dropped the title to Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar regained the WWE Championship at today's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, becoming a 10-time world champion in the process.
Lesnar challenged for the WWE Title inside the Elimination Chamber, facing champion Bobby Lashley, Riddle, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins and Austin Theory in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The WWE Champion was removed from the match in the opening minutes, though, after Seth Rollins Powerbombed Austin Theory through Lashley's pod, sending The All Mighty crashing to the floor. The 45-year-old was then checked by WWE medical personnel and Adam Pearce before he was taken backstage and put into concussion protocol, ending his night early.
Later, the pod sequence landed on the removed Lashley but all this did was annoy Brock Lesnar and The Beast kicked his way out of his own pod and channelled his inner-Goldberg from SummerSlam 2003 to quickly eliminate Riddle, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles with F5s.
This brought the match down to Austin Theory and Lesnar and Theory did Low Blow The Beast at one point before he followed up with a DDT, but the former WWE Champion kicked out at one. All Theory did then was try to escape but Lesnar pulled him down from high up the structure and hit Vince McMahon's protege with an F5 from the top of a pod to the chamber floor below.
The inevitable 1-2-3 followed soon after and Brock Lesnar is once again WWE Champion.
That wasn't all though, and following Lesnar's win it was announced that The Beast's WrestleMania 38 clash with Roman Reigns would now be a Title vs. Title Match, with The Head Of The Table having successfully defended the Universal Championship earlier in the evening against Goldberg.
