Braun Strowman made his return to WWE television on Monday Night Raw, appearing on the show for the first time since November.
Strowman appeared in a backstage segment with WWE official Adam Pearce, with the Monster Among Men furiously questioning why he had been ignored for this Sunday's Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship.
With the 'Chamber match for Drew McIntyre's title set for former WWE Champions, Strowman questioned why his status as a former WWE Universal Champion hadn't earned him entry, with Pearce saying the superstar would need to take the issue up with the man who announced the match last week on Raw, Shane McMahon.
Interestingly, Strowman's return was met with boos from, indicating that the former Intercontinental champion is operating as a heel.
Monday's showing on Raw was the first time Strowman appeared on the show since November 23, when he received a storyline suspension for physically engaging with Pearce. The Monster Among Men's time off was to recover from injury, before his return on the go-home episode of SmackDown ahead of last month's Royal Rumble.
Most recently, Strowman admitted he was recovering from a blood system infection, something that had caused him to drop substantial weight in less than a week.
With his return to Raw, however, Monday's segment suggests Strowman will have some form of interaction with Shane McMahon in the near future.
