Booker T: Tommaso Ciampa Is Perfect For NXT But Would Get Lost On The WWE Main Roster
Ciampa reunited with Goldie on last week's NXT

Booker T believes that, despite being 'perfect' for NXT, Tommaso Ciampa would get lost in the shuffle if he was moved up to the WWE main roster.
Ciampa has been one of the focal points of WWE NXT since 2015, and is in the midst of his second run as NXT Champion. The Blackheart has enjoyed notable feuds alongside and against Johnny Gargano, Timothy Thatcher, Aleister Black, Adam Cole and WALTER at the top of the NXT card.
With the 2021 WWE Draft on the way, speculation has turned to which NXT stars could possibly move up to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown. Booker T feels Ciampa is better off being 'perfect' in NXT rather than not being a top player on the main roster.
Speaking on his Hall Of Fame Podcast, Booker T said: "Tommaso Ciampa, I think if he came to the main roster, he'd get lost in the shuffle.
"In NXT, he's going to be playing at a high level, he's going to play a big role there, he's great for those younger guys coming up that he can actually help, hopefully, mentor and guide to what is going to take for you guys to go to the next level. If that's talking bad about somebody, I wished somebody talked about me like that sometimes.
"A guy like Tommaso Ciampa, he's perfect for NXT - and people can take that and look at it however they want. There, again, if someone was calling me 'perfect', I'd take it any day of the week."
