More stakes would be helpful

WWE's latest fight over brand supremacy is just around the corner and Survivor Series will air from Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Sunday, November 21.

WWE has used the same brand supremacy formula since the brand split was reinstated in 2016, something which has begun to grow tiresome with some fans. As a result, the likes of Xavier Woods have pitched increasing the stakes for the Survivor Series Elimination Matches by adding Royal Rumble implications.

Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch will face SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair at the upcoming pay-per-view and The Man believes it would be helpful if WWE added stakes to Survivor Series beyond just brand warfare.

"Yeah, that would be helpful. I don't know if - yeah, the old brand supremacy is a little outdated, I don't know. At the same time, we're all competitors. So, you always want to be the best. Whatever it is, whatever carrot they dangle," Lynch told Vicente Beltran.

"You always want to be the best, whether it's the winner gets a frickin' banana. It's like, 'Well, I want that frickin' banana. I wanna prove that I deserve that banana.' You always want to be the best. Whatever the logic is, you can make it work when you are a competitive human, which we all are. You don't get to WWE if you're not competitive."

Also set for the Survivor Series pay-per-view are the traditional 5-on-5 Elimination Matches. Universal Champion Roman Reigns will also go one-on-one with WWE Champion Big E.
