One of WWE's long-term absentees could return to the company with a new attitude when they eventually resurface on either Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown.

Zoey Stark has been out of action for much of 2025 after she sustained a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a Money in the Bank qualifier against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane on the May 19 episode of Raw. Stark sustained the injury after landing awkwardly on her knee following a missile dropkick.

BodySlam has reported the initial timeline for Stark to make her return is currently around the middle of 2026. WWE remain high on Stark amid her absence and talks within the company about her return have revolved around her coming back to TV as a potential babyface.

Stark has been a heel throughout her run on the WWE main roster, having aligned with Trish Stratus shortly after the 2023 WWE Draft. Stark had been a part of Pure Fusion Collective in 2025, but the group disbanded after the WWE exit of Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler's release.

Prior to moving to the main roster, Stark wrestled as a babyface on WWE NXT and she is a one-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with IYO SKY.
