Asuka has revealed it will take over six months for her to completely recover from the injury done to her teeth and mouth on Raw in February.

The WWE Raw Women's Champion had been out of action since taking a stiff kick to the mouth from Shayna Baszler in a tag-team match on February 22. It was revealed by WWE in the aftermath that Asuka had lost a tooth, with the company later saying she had suffered 'dislodged teeth'. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that she had also sustained a concussion, although this was never confirmed by WWE.

Asuka returned to WWE Raw on Monday and, in an update posted to Japanese social media platform NowVoice - which allows personalities to connect with their fans via audio messages - she revealed that she now has temporary teeth in to replace the ones she lost.

The 'Empress Of Tomorrow' would also say that it will take six months for her injury to completely heal, after which she would be able to have implants inserted into her mouth to replace the teeth knocked out on Raw.

Asuka faced Shayna Baszler on Raw this past week and proceeded to launch a vicious attack against the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, appearing to try and get revenge for the injury.

The Raw Women's Champion would note in a post-RAW interview that she was looking for 'payback' against Baszler.
