Another WWE Star's Contract Set To Expire Soon

Amidst news of several WWE contracts reaching their expiration in the coming months, news has emerged that yet another star is approaching the end of their deal.

Reports earlier this week indicated that Angel Garza’s current WWE deal is set to expire in August, and a report from Fightful Select suggests that the same is true of Garza’s tag partner Berto (Humberto Carillo). Both deals are set to officially expire on August 1 if the two can’t come to an agreement with WWE, but the report indicated that WWE are interested in retaining the duo’s services.

WWE have apparently put an offer on the table for the team, and the two sides are believed to be in the midst of negotiations. Carillo has been with WWE since 2018, with his cousin Angel joining him in 2019. The pair are currently aligned with Santos Escobar as Legado del Fantasma on WWE’s main roster.

The duo are the latest WWE talents to reach the end of their deals, with Becky Lynch recently letting her contract expire to take a break from the business, whilst Chad Gable is entering the final days of his current deal, should new terms not be reached.
