Alexander Wolfe Thinks Triple H Was Unhappy With SAnitY's WWE Main Roster Run
"They totally dropped the ball on Sanity on the main roster."

Alexander Wolfe believes Triple H was frustrated when the WWE main roster creative team 'dropped the ball' with SAnitY.
NXT Executive Producer Triple H was the one who came up with SAnitY, putting Wolfe with Eric Young, Killian Dain and Nikki Cross. The male trio were called up to the WWE main roster in 2018 but never properly utilised, with the group quietly disbanding in 2019 when Eric Young was drafted to Raw.
Wolfe says Triple H was eager to reunite the trio in a feud with Imperium, which was why he was moved to NXT UK to work with the group, but ultimately believes The Game harbours ill feelings about how the faction was treated on the main roster.
Speaking with The Angle Podcast, he said: "I got the appearances for NXT UK and I asked what was that all about. [Triple H] said, ‘I don’t want you guys to sit around on the main roster and do nothing, I want to use your potential. So, I split you off and you’re going to NXT UK to go back with your old group and start building NXT UK, and start [building] you guys as a brand and eventually you will split off and will feud with them'.
"Then after I heard the plans for Sanity in 2020, I thought, ‘Oh okay, that’s what he means.’ They totally dropped the ball on Sanity on the main roster. Sanity was [Triple H’s] creation and I think it was a bitter pill to swallow when [the main roster] dropped the ball with us. He wanted to bring EY back to NXT because he was doing nothing on the main roster as well."
