WWE SummerSlam goes down on August 11 and even though a bumper card is already taking shape, it appears The Biggest Party Of The Summer won't be as long as we've become accustomed to.

Fans who tune into WWE's YouTube channel have noticed the company's banner on the platform features promotional material that appears to indicate a shorter SummerSlam will be taking place.

According to the YouTube banner, the SS kickoff show will be starting at 6 pm Eastern Time - slightly later than normal when it comes to the company's big five events.

Normally, the likes of the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Money In The Bank, SummerSlam and Survivor Series have two-hour kickoff shows, but next month's showcase will only be an hour in length.

Typically, the watching WWE Universe are subjected to a 7/8 hour evening from start to finish for a Big Five PPV.

This year's SummerSlam will be headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton, and the in-ring debut of Bray Wyatt's fiend.
