Former WWE Tag Team Champion Erick ‘Rowan’ Redbeard appeared on last night’s AEW: Dynamite tribute show to Brodie Lee.

Appearing during a Six-Man Tag Match between Alex Reynolds, John Silver, & Hangman Page vs. Santana, Ortiz, & MJF, Redbeard ran out as a surprise to attack Wardlow and even the score for The Dark Order, before Silver got the pin on Ortiz.

Afterwards, Redbeard entered the ring to console a grief-stricken Silver, and held up a placard that read “Goodbye for now, my brother. See you down the road”.

Redbeard is best known for his time in WWE as Erick Rowan, where he and Lee, then going as Luke Harper, teamed as part of the Wyatt Family in NXT and main roster. The two later reformed as The Bludgeon Brothers where they reigned as SmackDown Tag Team Champions in 2018, and were briefly paired as muscle for WWE Champion Daniel Bryan in 2019.

There is no word if this appearance was a one-off, or if Redbeard has signed with AEW.
