Update On Bray Wyatt Reportedly Emerges Amid AEW Dynamite Debut Speculation
Wyatt was released by WWE in late July

Rumours have been rampant on social media that the former Bray Wyatt could be set to make his debut for All Elite Wrestling at this week's show.
With Rochester being the home of the late Brodie Lee - one of Wyatt's closest friends - many have speculated that the former WWE 'Fiend' could make his debut for AEW at the September 29 AEW Dynamite, hosted in the city.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has previously reported that September 29 could be the date Windham Rotunda debuts with AEW, after being released by WWE in July, but an update from Meltzer suggests this won't be happening.
Posting on the Figure Four Online message board, Meltzer says he has been given the impression that the former Bray Wyatt won't be appearing for AEW this week. Unless anything has changed in the past 24 hours, that would be the situation heading into tonight's show.
Rotunda was released by WWE on 31 July and, if bound to a standard 90-day non-compete clause, wouldn't be able to appear for any other wrestling promotion until October 29 at the earliest.
Of course, it is possible Rotunda has negotiated a shorter non-compete clause with WWE, like Chelsea Green did when she was able to get a week taken off her own earlier this year, but whether the former Universal Champion has gone down this route is unknown.
