Tony Khan Considering Introducing An AEW Trios Title

Since All Elite Wrestling was created, many have wondered if the company would introduce a trios title. The promotion has a number of groups and acts who could compete for the belts including The Elite, Jurassic Express, Death Triangle, Matt Hardy & Private Party and Orange Cassidy & Best Friends.
No trios title has been introduced as of yet, but Tony Khan revealed during a recent media call that he is "seriously thinking" about creating the championship.
"Yes, there is but it won't be in 2020," the AEW President said. "If it happens it will most likely be in 2021. I am seriously thinking about it. I think there's a lot of momentum for it. We have a lot of great trios teams. I would like to get through 2020. I'd like to get into Beach Break and moving towards Revolution but I think it's definitely something on my agenda, yeah. And it's something that I've been talking about for a long time and thinking about."
