WWE's aggressive talent signing policy has been making all kinds of headlines over the last few months as the company are seemingly targeting any and every indy star with some steam behind them.

Right at the top of the tree in terms of talent outside of WWE have to be The Elite, who have taken the game to new heights this year with the success of All In, and the inception of All Elite Wrestling.

Naturally, with such bonafide star power behind them, The Elite is a group WWE want to sign.  However, Dave Meltzer of the

Wrestling Observer Newsletter

has revealed that at least three of Hangman Page, The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes were offered massive money by WWE, only to turn it down.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here is what Dave penned in this week's Newsletter:

"The official departure of the Young Bucks, Cody and Adam Page from ROH, combined with them turning down WWE’s offer in a skit on their BTE show that mirrored real life, has made things clear that they see All Elite Wrestling as more than just an idea.

"Three of the four turned down WWE main event money, multi-year deals for more than seven figures annually. That idea is one that almost nobody in wrestling could have possibly conceived of being offered, let alone turned down, as recently as a year ago. But that was before All In was a success."
