Flair made a surprise appearance at AAA TripleMania XXIX

Ric Flair reportedly has no non-compete clause attached to his WWE release and could therefore make his debut for All Elite Wrestling in the imminent future.
Flair, who requested and was granted his departure from WWE earlier this month, made a surprise appearance at AAA TripleMania XXIX on Friday night, accompanying Andrade El Idolo to the ring for his AAA Mega Championship Match against Kenny Omega.
It has been reported that the 72-year-old left WWE in order to pursue other business opportunities and further reports over the weekend suggest that Flair is 'a lock' to make a move into AEW.
Wrestling Inc. is now reporting that Flair does not have any form of non-compete agreement with WWE and can therefore begin working for another promotion, such as AEW, immediately.
The report also says that Flair did not charge a fee for his shock appearance at AAA TripleMania XXIX on Friday, with the Nature Boy even chartering a private jet at his own expense to ensure he made the show.
