On this week's episode of AEW: Dynamite, Lance Archer and Rey Fenix teamed together in what became a 3-On-2 Handicap Match against Eddie Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade. Penta El Zero M was supposed to team with his brother and The Murderhawk Monster but an injury spot took place before the bout because of a legitimate leg injury he sustained in training a few weeks ago.

Rey Fenix came close to suffering his own injury during the match. In the later stages, he went for a Somersault Suicide Dive on Eddie Kingston but came up short and the back of his head crashed against the floor.

According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, the former AAA Mega Champion "got rocked" from hitting his head but was said to be okay after the match. He also isn't expected to spend any time on the shelf.

This was the third time Fenix got hurt on Dynamite this year. He injured his back and hip ahead of the Casino Ladder Match at Double Or Nothing and was subsequently pulled from the pay-per-view. He then injured his neck during the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament after he hit Penta with a Twisting Headscissors and landed awkwardly.
