Report: CM Punk's AEW All Out Media Scrum Rant Seemingly Planned
CM Punk's rant was seemingly in the works for weeks

While it appeared to be the case at the time, a new report has added credence to the perception that CM Punk's rant at the All Out media scrum was planned.
The then-AEW World Champion's actions during the media scrum overshadowed his world title win and MJF's return when he went on a tirade about Colt Cabana, the AEW EVPs, and Hangman Page, during which he said the EVPs were stepping on their own d*cks and called Page an "empty-headed f*cking dumb f*ck."
Punk's tirade was not prompted by a question from anyone at the media scrum and the 43-year-old instead interrupted Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc. at the start of the press conference and used Hausman's past working relationship with Colt Cabana to bring up 'Boom Boom' and begin his rant.
Punk even told Hausman during the scrum that he "blew my spot", which suggested the two-time AEW World Champion's tirade was planned, and a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has seemingly revealed the rant had been planned for weeks. According to Meltzer, Punk told someone two weeks ago when he returned from injury that his All Out press conference "would be interesting."
Following the media scrum, Punk was confronted in his locker room by The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega and a fight broke out which also involved Ace Steel. Both sides have shared differing accounts of what happened but what is reportedly agreed on is that CM Punk threw punches at The Young Bucks, and Ace Steel threw a chair at Nick Jackson and bit Kenny Omega.
Everyone involved in the fight, including those who tried to break it up, have been suspended while a third party investigates what occurred. The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega have been stripped of the AEW World Trios Titles, while CM Punk was stripped of the AEW World Title. Punk is also out of action with a torn triceps which would have factored into the future of the AEW World Championship too.
