Report: AEW Talents Unsure How Long They Will Remain Suspended
Even the talent don't know how long they will be away from AEW
Sep 14, 2022
Following a backstage fight between CM Punk, Ace Steel and The Elite after Punk's All Out media scrum, they were suspended by All Elite Wrestling along with Christopher Daniels, Pat Buck, Michael Nakazawa, and Brandon Cutler.
How long the suspensions will remain in place is currently unknown but they look set to last a little while as The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and CM Punk were pulled from advertising for Full Gear, which is two months away.
According to Fightful Select, those suspended don't even know how long they will have to sit at home. People within AEW don't think anything will change in that regard until the third-party investigation into the fight is complete and any potential legal situations are sorted out.
Despite their suspensions, Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa, and Christopher Daniels are all in Japan. They were scheduled to miss AEW this week regardless of if they had been suspended or not, with Omega originally set to showcase the AEW: Fight Forever video game at the Tokyo Game Show.
