Paul Wight has revealed he would love to see Mark Henry join All Elite Wrestling.
Henry has transitioned into a backstage producer role for WWE since 2017, making just one in-ring appearance since WrestleMania 33 - taking part in the Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018.
Henry is one of Wight's closest friends in professional wrestling, with the former 'Big Show' inducting Henry into the WWE Hall Of Fame and the two enjoying a notable feud over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2011.
The 49-year-old recently admitted he would love to return to wrestling at some point in the next six months and Wight wants to see Henry join him in AEW.
Speaking to Renee Paquette on The Oral Sessions Podcast, Wight said: "Honestly, there’s one guy I miss all the time, and I don’t if he’s gonna wrestle again. It’s Mark Henry.
"I love him. He does [still got it]. Mark would be amazing here because he’s got an eye for finding talent. That’s a thing about Mark that a lot of people don’t know because of the way his character’s done on TV, there’s so much depth to him.
“He’s a lot smarter than people know. He knows everyone under the sun. He’s a got a rolodex full of athletes that he’s helped get better, train better, become wrestlers, get into colleges they want to go to, get try-outs for pro teams that they want to go to. He’s unbelievable. His heart is so big the way he gives to athletes and helps athletes. For me personally, I’d love Mark here."
