Laredo Kid Undergoes Emergency Surgery

Laredo Kid has undergone undisclosed emergency surgery, with the AAA and IMPACT star revealing on Instagram that he had undergone a medical procedure.

The news broke on October 24, with Laredo Kid having wrestled twice the previous day at a AAA event in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. No information as to the nature of the surgery or how long Laredo Kid will be out of action for have been revealed.

Laredo Kid’s Instagram post shows what appears to be his abdomen covered in medical dressings with tubes inserted, and was accompanied by the following caption:

“I don't know how or where to start with this news -- Yesterday unfortunately @laredokidpro had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital after finishing the fight for the championship in Monterrey. He had to undergo early morning emergency surgery. GAD a little while ago was aware and aware of his situation to alert family + closest friends. Hopefully in the next few hours, days your situation improves and becomes stable ---- Fans, promoters, friends, family and colleagues of Laredo, I will try to keep up with messages and be able to reply to most. * Promoters / events * with dates scheduled in the following months -- due to the severity of what happened the recovery time is not yet known, any questions or comments I will be answering msgs, emails, for the time being avoid calls. AAA also released the following press statement about Laredo Kid’s surgery:

“At the end of our Campeonato Showcenter event on October 23, Laredo Kid was attended by medical personnel after multiple abdominal disturbances. Afterwards, he was transferred to a near-by hospital for a revision & a diagnosis. At midnight on Monday October 24, he went through surgery with positive results.At this moment, he is stable and is under medical supervision. We will keep providing updates according to Medical Reports.”
