Jim Ross believes Triple H isn't given enough credit for his hard work, dedication and work ethic in WWE because he married Stephanie McMahon.

JR served as the Head Of Talent Relations in WWE for much of Triple H's time as an active, full-time member of the roster. The 'King Of Kings' married Vince McMahon's daughter Stephanie in 2003, with Ross revealing how much complaining he heard from other talent about Triple H's push.

The AEW commentator does not buy into the theory that Triple H's push in WWE was as a result of his marriage to Stephanie, saying the Game has always been one of the company's hardest workers.

Speaking on the latest episode of Grilling JR, he said: "People get p*ssed at Triple H because they’re jealous and because of who he married. Maybe they believe that he would not have been such a success if he had not married the boss’s daughter.

"I totally disagree with that. You can’t tell me the wedding vows made him a great worker, he made himself a great worker but he’s not given enough credit for it because of the jealousy thing and the anti-McMahon backlash at times. He’s never given credit sometimes for his hard work and his dedication to the business."
