Jake 'The Snake' Roberts has admitted he finds Lance Archer's current spot in All Elite Wrestling "so frustrating."

Roberts, who manages Archer on AEW TV, said on his DDP Snake Pit podcast: "It is so frustrating for me to see Lance in the spot that he is in. He's such a phenomenal athlete, he's in such great shape, he's got an unbelievable look. The only thing Lance doesn't do really well is talk and that's why they brought me in."

Since joining AEW in early 2020, Archer has found himself utilised as a featured performer but The Murderhawk Monster's booking has consisted of him racking up wins on Dark and Dark: Elevation ahead of losing a high-profile match on TV or pay-per-view to the likes of Hangman Page, Wardlow, Miro, Cody Rhodes, and Jon Moxley.

Archer did pick up a big win in AEW last year when he defeated Moxley for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in a Texas Death Match. He then lost the belt to Hiroshi Tanahashi one month later, though.

Archer is scheduled to return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling in July for the upcoming G1 Climax 32 tournament.
