Former WWE NXT Talent Debuts On AEW Dynamite
Another NXT talent debuts
Feb 10, 2022
Only days after Vanessa Borne made her debut in All Elite Wrestling, another former WWE NXT talent debuted on AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan announced ahead of the show from Atlantic City that Jade Cargill would defend the TBS Title against "the best free agent available," AQA - formerly Zayda Ramier in WWE.
AQA then went one-on-one with Cargill and she had moments to shine - including hitting a Shooting Star Press - before the TBS Champion put her away after seven minutes with Jaded.
A graduate of Booker T's Reality Of Wrestling school, AQA joined WWE in early 2021. She performed a handful of times on NXT, including in a high-profile win over Toni Storm, before she was medically disqualified by WWE after suffering from anxiety-related issues.
AQA was then released by WWE in November of 2021 along with the likes of Ember Moon, Keith Lee and Karrion Kross.
Prior to her WWE run, AQA performed for Reality Of Wrestling, SHIMMER and RISE on the independent wrestling scene, having debuted in 2018.
