CMLL Stars Will Be Coming To AEW Soon

AEW has worked with plenty of different professional wrestling promotions over the last five years, with the likes of TNA Wrestling, NJPW, NWA, AAA, and more seeing some crossover with AEW in some way, shape or form. Another company has begun some dealings with AEW, and that is CMLL.

On this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, it was announced that some stars of CMLL would be making the trip over to compete on AEW programming. The exact details of how long they’ll be in AEW and in what context weren’t immediately unveiled, but four names have been revealed to be making the trip. These wrestlers include Mistico (formerly known as Sin Cara in WWE), Mascara Dorada, Volador Jr, and Hechicero. It was then announced on last night’s episode of AEW Collision that the four CMLL stars would be in action on next week’s February 2 edition of AEW Rampage.

The beginnings of an apparent relationship between AEW & CMLL began back in August when Mistico debuted in AEW for a match against Rocky Romero on an episode of Rampage in a well-received bout.
