Despite departing WWE for All Elite Wrestling, Bryan Danielson reportedly has 'incredible respect for' Vince McMahon and keeps a book of thing he has learned from the WWE boss.

Danielson left WWE upon the expiration of his contract in April and debuted for AEW last weekend, appearing at the end of the All Out pay-per-view.

The former WrestleMania main-eventer reportedly was offered similar deals by WWE and AEW, leading to a difficult decision for the 40-year-old. Even though he opted for a new challenge, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has revealed just the level of regard that Danielson holds for his former boss, McMahon.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said: "Daniel Bryan has like, I don't want to say it wrong, but he's got like a notebook of things he learned, like his own book. Every time he learns something from Vince, he writes it down. He's got his book of things he's learned from Vince McMahon. He has incredible respect for Vince McMahon."
