Bobby Lashley and MVP are on their way out of WWE.

Fightful Select reported that Lashley's deal is up within the next month or so, possibly within the next few weeks. Fightful also confirmed that, while Lashley is still listed on WWE's roster page on their website, he is no longer listed on the company's internal roster.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio has reported that Lashley will be leaving WWE with MVP and they will be looking to reform the Hurt Business in All Elite Wrestling with Shelton Benjamin. It is unknown if they will be able to call a possible new stable 'Hurt Business' or if a new name will need to be found.

"He is on his way out. Bobby Lashley and MVP both. I know that there is talk of them trying to get into AEW. It's one of those things where technically nobody can talk to them because I don’t believe either’s contract has expired but their contracts are going to expire. As things stand right now, WWE are under the assumption they are gone and they are going to try to revamp the Hurt Business...Whatever it is they want to get Shelton Benjamin and revamp the group in AEW," Meltzer said.

Bobby Lashley has only wrestled five matches on WWE television this year, with his last televised outing being a loss in a triple threat match with LA Knight and Santos Escobar on the April 12 edition of SmackDown. His most recent non-televised outing was a victory over Escobar on a live event in France on May 5.

MVP, meanwhile, has seldom been on WWE TV over the past year since he turned on Lashley and aligned with Omos. He has not wrestled on WWE TV since 2022.

Shelton Benjamin has been a free agent since his WWE release in 2023.

Bobby Lashley may not be finished in the MMA world either. Fightful's report added that sources told them Lashley plans to continue to wrestle. While there is no information to suggest the 48-year-old would want a return to MMA, it isn't an impossibility and Lashley has previously said he would step back into the fight cage if the right situation presented itself.
