Bobby Fish Felt 'Out Of Touch' With Wrestling Outside Of WWE
Fish is looking to get reacquainted
Oct 4, 2021
Bobby Fish has admitted he felt "out of touch" from professional wrestling outside of WWE.
Fish had spent the last four years with WWE but he was released by the company in early August. Since then, Fish has competed on the independent wrestling scene and in the Opera Cup at Major League Wrestling's Fightland tapings. He will also make his All Elite Wrestling debut on Wednesday when he challenges Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship.
Speaking to Busted Open Radio ahead of Fightland, Fish agreed with Dave LaGreca that it was the perfect time for him to be on the open market.
"I couldn't agree more. I was a little out of touch with what was this atmosphere, because I've been where I was for about four years and you kind of lose touch with some of this. So to get reacquainted with this and to realise the amount of opportunity. Man, it is as exciting as all hell," Fish said.
