All In: Zero Hour Viewership Revealed
Highest viewed show on Saturday for WGN America...
Sep 5, 2018
Before the groundbreaking All In ppv took place, The Young Bucks and new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes staged a pre-show called All In: Zero Hour. The hour-long show aired on WGN America and featured two matches: the much-hyped Over Budget Battle Royal, as well as SoCal Uncensored duo Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky vs. The Briscoes.
According to
F4WOnline, Zero Hour averaged 196,00 viewers. It ranked 85th for the day on cable, and was the only show from WGN America to make the top 150 list - that sounds pretty impressive to me. For those wondering how that compares to other wrestling cable shows, IMPACT Wrestling (8 pm ET Thursdays on POP) managed 225,000 viewers last week, with their year low rating being 168,000 viewers. While that doesn't sound too good for Zero Hour, its 6 pm start time must be taken into account against the
prime time
slot IMPACT currently have.
Zero Hour also averaged a 0.08 rating in the important 18-49 demographic.
F4WOnline also notes that Saturday marked the kickoff for the college football season, with games airing on ESPN, FOX, CBS, and ABC - those games will have taken part of any potential viewership.
For those who haven't seen the pre-show, Flip Gordon was the man to win the Over Budget Battle Royale, although he would go on to lose his Ring of Honor world title shot to champion Jey Lethal - or Black Machismo - on the main card. As for the tag bout, Kazarian and Sky came out on top.
The number of pay-per-view buys for All In itself is currently unavailable.
