With WWE making their latest round of roster cuts this week, attention quickly shifted to social media to see the reactions of those affected, and the reactions of those throughout the wrestling world.

Many shared their support and offered endorsements, others kept it kayfabe whilst paying homage, and some went for the jugular on WWE.

The obvious place to look for responses was from AEW, with the easy being joke that Tony Khan will sign anyone WWE releases (in fact Tony Khan was trending on social media in the wake of the cuts).

Of AEW’s roster, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega gave his kayfabe thoughts on Twitter:

“Old rivals, old friends, some I’ve never encountered… I don’t mind padding my record if they don’t mind being a statistic. See if I care.”

Whilst current AAA Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood of FTR showed there’s no love lost between him and his former employer WWE:

“I wish WCW would’ve won.”

To which former WCW President Eric Bischoff agreed.

Out of all the names offering their support and endorsements, Mick Foley threw his support behind Karrion/Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux:

“So @WWEKarrionKross & @Lady_Scarlett13 get to be a duo again - and whoever picks them up has one of the hottest acts in the biz. Unfortunately, it seems @WWE is sometimes intent on trying to reinvent the wheel.”
