Adam Copeland managed to avoid his AEW debut from being completely spoiled

Although his debut in All Elite Wrestling was expected to take place at WrestleDream on Sunday, October 1, there had been no direct confirmation that Adam Copeland would be showing up at the pay-per-view.
The former Edge ultimately did make his AEW debut at WrestleDream, making the save for Sting and Darby Allin during a post-main event beatdown by Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne. Copeland's debut was initially teased with a vignette before 'Metalingus' filled the arena and the Rated-R Superstar headed to the ring.
Speaking at the post-WrestleDream media scrum, Copeland revealed he filmed the vignette with Darby Allin on Friday night and he was staying in Redmond, Washington, which is around 15 miles outside of Seattle. Copeland was briefly spotted by a fan at a burger joint but they opted to keep quiet.
"Oh man, I sequestered myself in a hotel room. We were in some sketchy neighbourhoods, like Darby took us to some sketchy places. Like ain't nobody here gonna worry about Adam Copeland being here, kind of thing. So nobody saw us and then I went to my hotel room and I just sneaked out to get food and this one kid, bless his heart, I'm at this burger joint and I just really wanted a cheeseburger because I hadn't eaten for 14 hours. So I'm in there and I'm sitting there and reading my book and I looked up and he went 'WOAH' and I'm like 'Shhhh' and he went 'Okay, okay.' That was it, that was the only time that I had that encounter," the former Edge stated.
Copeland will be appearing on Wednesday night's edition of Dynamite before his in-ring debut on Dynamite: Title Tuesday on October 10 against Luchasaurus. Copeland has detailed why he left WWE for AEW.
