YOH has issued a challenge to his former tag team partner, SHO.

SHO and YOH had teamed together for the last four years as Roppongi 3K, becoming five-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions along the way. Their union came to an end last week, though, during Super Jr. Tag League when SHO refused to assist his partner and then decimated him with a Shock Arrow following their loss to Suzuki-gun.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling is yet to sanction a match between the former best friends, but YOH has told NJPW's website that he wants to go one on one with SHO.

Reflecting on his opinion of SHO now, YOH said: "I can't honestly say I can flip the switch that easy. I've still got a lot of thoughts going on. I'm still trying to figure out why, when, how. But I'm a pro-wrestler. It's my job to fight, and I want to fight him. Really fight him for the first time. Forget about the past and let's move on."

YOH also noted that he plans to remain a member of Chaos, adding: "Whatever happens, I'm Chaos for life. I've never once thought about going to a different faction. We've always been together, me SHO and Rocky."
