X-Pac Returning To The Ring In GCW

Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman's return match has been revealed.
The 49-year-old will return to the squared circle at GCW Welcome to Heartbreak on February 25 in Los Angeles, California. X-Pac is scheduled to team with Joey Janela against Matt Cardona and Brian Myers.
The match follows The Wrld On GCW when Myers assisted Cardona in his win over Janela at the pay-per-view, calling back to Edge's interference at ECW One Night Stand 2006 in the process. X-Pac then appeared at the show, saving Janela from a post-match beatdown from the former Raw Tag Team Champions.
Waltman revealed in late 2021 that he had been cleared to return to the squared circle after undergoing knee surgery earlier in the year.
February 25 will be X-Pac's first match since WrestleCon 2019 when he teamed with Jushin "Thunder" Liger and Hurricane Helms against Caleb Konley, Jake Manning and Zane Riley. The GCW match will also mark Waltman's fifth decade in professional wrestling, having made his in-ring debut all the way back in 1989.
