Ring of Honor held their first round of TV tapings over the weekend, as the legendary indie promotion compiled content for their first episodes of TV since being bought by Tony Khan in 2022.

Taking place at Orlando’s Universal Studios, Ring of Honor taped two episodes worth of content, with the return episode of the new ROH TV headlined by a ROH World Championship match.

Set to air on HonorClub on Thursday, March 2, Claudio Castagnoli will put the title on the line against AR Fox, a match that will be Fox’s first-ever shot at the ROH World Championship, and the first time Castagnoli and Fox will lock horns in their respective careers.

Tony Khan announced the match on Twitter, writing:

“The New Era of Honor will begin this Thursday with ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli defending the title vs. a man who cost him $100,000 at Christmas, AR Fox.”

Since winning the ROH World title for a second time at Final Battle 2022, Claudio has defended the belt on three occasions, defeating Josh Woods, Christopher Daniels, and Blake Christian, with the Blackpool Combat Club star regaining the title from Chris Jericho by making ‘The Ocho’ tap out to the giant swing.
