Women's Title Match And More Set For Next Week's AEW: Dynamite
As Shida looks to reach a year with the gold

Hikaru Shida will defend the AEW Women's World Championship against the #1 ranked Tay Conti on next week's edition of Dynamite.
This will be Shida's eight title defence and she is looking to reach one year with the gold. She has previously successfully retained the championship against the likes of Nyla Rose, Thunder Rosa, Abadon and Penelope Ford.
Conti earned a shot at the championship following widely praised outings in recent weeks against The Bunny and Nyla Rose.
Also announced for next week's Dynamite is "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Ricky Starks, Christian Cage vs. Powerhouse Hobbs and Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Trent?.
The match between Cage and Hobbs came about during last night's Dynamite after Captain Charisma rejected the offer to join Team Taz and the faction took him out. Penta vs. Trent? will be the latest chapter in the feud between Best Friends and Death Triangle which started back in February 2020 but was paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
