TNA Wrestling have announced one of pro wrestling's biggest names for their 'Snake Eyes' TV taping.

'Snake Eyes' will emanate from the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, January 14. The tapings will be held one day after the Hard to Kill pay-per-view at the same venue, which will be the promotion's first event as TNA Wrestling since 2017.

In trying to build hype for the show, TNA have announced Will Ospreay will be in action at Snake Eyes. There is no word on who the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion's opponent will be.

Ospreay's announcement comes amid shocking ticket sales for Snake Eyes and only 197 tickets have been distributed for the taping, according to WrestleTix. The Palms is currently set up to hold 1,180 fans.

Ospreay had a short run in IMPACT Wrestling earlier this year, picking up wins over Mike Bailey, Josh Alexander, and Eddie Edwards. The new AEW signing expressed an interest in wrestling for TNA once the rebrand was completed at Hard to Kill, noting that he grew up as an X-Division kid.

IMPACT Wrestling returning to its TNA Wrestling name was made official to close out Bound for Glory in October 2023. There were multiple reasons behind the rebrand.
