There was a strong wrestling contingent in the house for the last-ever KISS concert.

Missy Hyatt, Bully Ray, Madusa, Blue Meanie and Dave LaGreca were at Madison Square Garden this past weekend to see the legendary rock band perform for the final time.

As was Dale Torborg, who portrayed The KISS Demon in World Championship Wrestling.

A noted fan of the group, Torborg told a WWE.com Where Are They Now? profile that it was an honour to don the makeup in tribute to KISS, saying "I was really pumped. It was a dream of mine to represent KISS, which I feel is the greatest band in the world".

Brian Adams (AKA Crush) was originally slated to do the gimmick, but turned it down and offered Torborg the chance instead.

The KISS Demon was primarily an undercard attraction and only wrestled sporadically on television, though Eric Bischoff's costly dealings with Gene Simmons and company were supposedly a factor in his dismissal as WCW Senior Vice President.

Torborg - who is married to former WCW valet Asya - has been largely retired from wrestling since 2002, but worked two matches for IMPACT Wrestling as The Demon in October 2021.

KISS called it a career 50 years after Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley formed the band with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. The band's current lineup of Stanley, Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer will live on following the band's end through digital avatars, similar to ABBA.
