MLW have made sever more announcements for their upcoming Fightland event in Philadelphia, with Bobby Fish vs. Lee Moriarty in the Opera Cup added to the show.

The two will fight at the event, hoping to take home the historic trophy. This news comes after MLW announced an opening round match between 2019 cup winner Tom Lawlor and Davey Richards will also take place at the show.

MLW also announced that indie wrestling favourite Warhorse will be making his debut at the event, although no opponent has been announced. A fixture on the independent circuit for the best part of the last decade, Warhorse’s most high profile match to date was when he challenged Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship on AEW: Dynamite in July 2020.

MLW Fightland is set for the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia - better known as the historic ECW Arena in the 1990s - and is set to air on October 2.

The show is set to be headlined by a huge Title vs. Title match between MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu and MLW National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone.
