Update On Alexa Bliss' WWE Return
It's happening soon...
Jan 14, 2019
Alexa Bliss hasn't competed inside a WWE ring since an October 19 live event due to issues surrounding concussions and a period of being under the weather with the flu.
Over the last little while, there have been several reports of Bliss being cleared for a return to action, including
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry claiming that the former Raw Women's Champion herself said she was ready for a return to the squared circle. However, those reports have been proven to be false.
Now, Bliss herself has spoken about the issue during a Q&A at the ACE Comic Con in Phoenix, Arizona. Alexa confirmed the talk about concussions to be correct, and revealed that she aggravated her head injuries when stepping back into the ring.
Despite this, Bliss has been training at the Performance Center and expects to make her return to action soon.
“I plan on coming back pretty soon,” Bliss said. “WWE is very careful with us when it comes to concussions and any injury. We have the best taking care of us and you have to go through concussion protocol. Everybody is being cautious, it’s the brain, you only get one, can’t trade it out for another."
