While All Elite Wrestling's pay-per-views are often long affairs, the 2022 edition of Double Or Nothing was even longer than usual with the main card lasting four-and-a-half hours. By the time the show came to an end, it was 12:30 am ET and some were getting up for work at 5:30 am on Monday morning in the United Kingdom.

AEW President Tony Khan defended the length of the May 29 pay-per-view during the post-Double Or Nothing media scrum, though, noting the show would have ended around the usual time of 12 am ET if not for the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat game seven in the NBA Playoffs.

He noted the decision for Double Or Nothing to go longer was ultimately a commercial one, saying: "It was a little bit different. I ended up adding a little bit to the length of the show to help the show commercially and help the show make money. I think it made, if not a seven-figure difference, at least a six-figure difference."

Khan will listen to fan feedback about the length of the show, though, adding: "I will listen to the feedback of the fans. Revolution had pretty good response and commercially the show was really successful and had similar length bell to bell... But like I said, I'll listen to the feedback. This was a unique circumstance."

The packed Double Or Nothing card featured 13 matches across the main show and the Buy In. Check out the full results here.
