Punk is very understanding

CM Punk has told people making fun of the fan seen crying at his return to wrestling at AEW Rampage: The First Dance that they are also making fun of him as well.
Punk's debut in AEW last Friday ended a seven-year exile from wrestling for the Second City Saviour on what was a highly emotional night for Punk himself and the fans in attendance at the United Center in Chicago.
One fan was caught on camera openly crying in happiness at Punk's comeback, leading to some individuals on social media complaining.
However, Punk himself says he understands that sporting events are emotional and is understanding of feeling such levels of happiness.
Speaking on the ESPN 100 Podcast, Punk said: "I’m a Chicago sports guy. I cried when the Cubs won the World Series, I cried when the Blackhawks won the (Stanley) Cup, the times I was alive when they won the Cup, not back in the 60s. It means a lot and it means a lot because I’m so attached to Chicago and sports, especially. I understand.
"Anyone making fun of that dude, you’re making fun of me too. There is nothing wrong with being emotional at sporting events or anything you like. I’ll cry at a Marvel movie."
A host of other individuals associated with wrestling have also attempted to reach out to the crying fan, with IMPACT Wrestling's Tommy Dreamer offering them a flight and tickets to watch IMPACT Bound For Glory while also trying to arrange a meeting between him and Punk.
