Merely one day before she challenges Sami Callihan for Impact Wrestling's World Heavyweight title at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view in Dallas, Tessa Blanchard has been accused of unprofessional behavior from a pair of industry peers.

In replying to a tweet in which Blanchard encouraged women to be supportive of one another, NWA Women's champion

Allysin Kay wrote

, "Remember when you spat in a black woman’s face and called her the N-word in Japan? Was that you “supporting women“? The AUDACITY of this tweet"

Current

NXT performer Chelsea Green

replied to Kay's tweet with affirmation, and added her own accusations, writing, "You’ve consistently put down, bullied, and belittled countless female coworkers, including me. Is that support?"

Blanchard has since responded to the claims, writing

directly to Green

, "I’ve never been anything but kind to u. I’ve dealt with mean girls since I started..not saying I’m a saint, hell I’ve had my ups&downs & Ive made silly decisions...Such is life. u have ZERO merit in your comments..Instead putting me down here for a little clout...you’ve got my #!"

Blanchard also wrote

to no one in particular, "not true. That’s my statement and the most attention I’ll give it because of how actually ridiculous it is." It's not clear which accusation this is in reference to.
