An NXT tag team looks set to split in the near future

A tag team looks set to dissolve on WWE NXT in the coming weeks.
Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have been a fixture on the Tuesday night show since they returned to NXT in mid-June and the team competed in their return NXT match last week, sustaining a loss to Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer. Tensions within Los Lotharios then came to the fore following the match as Carrillo walked out on Garza following an argument between the cousins.
Issues within Los Lotharios proceeded to worsen on July 25, with the NXT broadcast showing both men arguing backstage. Carrillo questioned if the team was chasing women or championships before he told Garza that he couldn't do "this" anymore. Humberto then walked out on his partner and ignored Garza's calls for him to return.
After feuding on the main roster, Humberto and Angel formed Los Lotharios in the summer of 2021. They found their TV time reduced in 2023, however, ahead of their switch to NXT last month.
