Sting again channelled his inner daredevil on the June 28 edition of AEW Dynamite in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

The Icon teamed with Darby Allin to take on 'Painmaker' Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a Tornado Tag Team Match on Wednesday night's edition of AEW Dynamite. Sting was involved in the major spot of the match as he dived from a ladder and looked to put Sammy Guevara through a pair of tables on the floor, but the 64-year-old came up a little bit short, crashing into the side of the first table as he landed the move.

Sting didn't walk away from the spot unscathed, with the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion revealing after Dynamite that he has loosened a tooth and is in need of stitches.

"I'm gonna have a bunch of stitches in my lip, and one of my teeth seems halfway knocked out, but it was worth it to do it right here," Sting stated.

Despite the slight botch, Sting and Darby Allin went on to win the match after Sting forced Chris Jericho to tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock.

Sting's rough evening came only days after a botched spot at Forbidden Door where The Icon failed to move out of the way of a 630 Splash through a table from Sammy Guevara.
