IMPACT Wrestling held their latest set of tapings over the weekend, with the Sin City Showdown events at Sam’s Town, Las Vegas on October 21 and October 22.

The episodes filmed are set to air in November leading into the Over Drive IMPACT Plus special on November 18, and aside from determining who will fight at Over Drive for the vacant X Division Championship, the tapings also saw a new champion crowned elsewhere.

- SPOILERS AHEAD -

IMPACT Digital Media Champion Brian Myers put his pride and joy on the line at Sam’s Town against Joe Hendry, with the new IMPACT signee defeating Myers for the strap, ending the ‘Most Professional Wrestler’s reign with the title at 113 days - although this will likely be adjusted by the time the episode airs.

Myers didn’t go down without a fight though, with his Major Players teammate Matt Cardona running into to try and weigh the odds in Myers' favour. However, IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Rhino and Heath made the save, driving the ‘Michael Jordan of Wrestling Figure Collecting’ to the bank, allowing Hendry to pick up the win.
