The National Wrestling Alliance is set to celebrate its 75 anniversary on August 26 and August 27, with a two-night NWA 75 PPV spectacular from the NWA’s spiritual home of St. Louis, Missouri.
It was previously announced that NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus will be putting the title on the line against EC3 at the event, and NWA Women’s Worlds Champion Kamille would be defending against Natalia Markova. Now, the NWA have unveiled several more matches for the two-night show, including several title matches.
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton will put the title on the line against Colby Corino in a clash of the second generation superstars. Morton will be hoping to extend his championship reign, having won the title from ROH legend Homicide at Hard Times III over 250 days ago in November 2022.
Both titles in the men’s tag division will also be on the line, with NWA World Tag Team Champions La Rebelión (Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf) taking on Blunt Force Trauma (Carnage & Damage) on night one, whilst NWA United States Tag Team ChampionsThe Country Gentlemen (A.J. Cazana & Anthony Andrews) will face as yet unannounced opponents over the weekend.
With EC3 vacating the NWA National Championship in order to secure his shot at Tyrus, the vacant title will be up for grabs in a three way match, with Odinson, JR Kratos, and ‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason set to battle for the belt.
Elsewhere, Matt Cardona has thrown out an open challenge, a night one Mildred Burke Invitational Gauntlet will determine the next challenger for the Women’s World Championship, and Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox will face whomever is holding the NWA World Tag Team Titles on night two.
