Sammy Guevara is not going to comment on the physical altercation between himself and Andrade El Idolo that took place before the October 5 edition of AEW Dynamite.

The altercation took place following a Twitter exchange between Andrade and Guevara after El Idolo revealed they had previously had an issue in AEW over Guevara complaining that he hit him too hard in one of their matches.

There have been multiple accounts about what happened ahead of Dynamite but the majority deemed Andrade to be the aggressor as he waited for Guevara and then punched him twice. Sammy, meanwhile, did not fight back and the altercation was broken up.

Andrade was sent home following the altercation and reports have since noted that El Idolo wants his release from AEW, seemingly so he can go back to WWE.

Sammy had yet to comment on what happened between him and Andrade and he addressed the situation on his latest vlog, stating that he is done focusing on negativity.

"I know some people want me to comment on what exactly happened backstage at AEW Dynamite. But man, I'm done focusing on the negativity. I feel like when you are on this trajectory to where I'm headed, there's going to be people that are going to do everything in their power to try to drag you down to their level. And I know I'm above that. So I'm not going to focus on any of that bullsh*t. I'm going to focus on where I'm headed. They say sky's the limit, but there's a whole universe out there, and that's where I'm headed. I'm not going to focus -- I'm not going to comment on any of the bullsh*t," Guevara said.

Instead, the three-time TNT Champion plans to focus on his wife Tay Melo, AEW, his fans, and his health.
