Sable Reportedly Turns Down Appearance At WWE Evolution

Former WWE Women's Champion Sable has not appeared in the company since leaving in August 2004 to, according to her husband Brock Lesnar, spend more time with her family. However, per a report from

, WWE made an approach to get her involved in WWE Evolution which takes place this Sunday on the WWE Network for a nominal fee.

According to the report, WWE reached to as many of their former female Superstars as possible a few weeks ago. In terms of what they had to offer Sable, a spot in the Battle Royal, guest ring announcer and guest commentator for one of the matches were all mooted. However, the Attitude Era stalwart turned down the company's advances. The report also states that while a deal couldn't be reached for Evolution, the door remains open for Sable to make a special appearance in the future.

In terms of Superstars of the past who have agreed to appear, the list currently reads: Trish Stratus, Lita, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Alundra Blayze, Ivory, Kelly Kelly, and Molly Holly - with a few more names expected to be announced over the coming days.
